The functional cabin of the new Ford truck provides for extra luxurious experience along with different available tools and equipments that makes it a pleasurable drive. The only drawback of this machine is that the steering wheel of the machine does not consist of a telescope and the machine lacks in the performance quotient. The machine was full re-designed last year and the new version comes with a big bang with the return of Harley Davidson trim level version, the machine also introduces high output yielding SVT Raptor trim machine. The F- series Ford trucks have been the most famous and popular amongst Americans for the last 30 years now. The F-150 comes with appealing looks; it's a full sized truck that carries its core design and stature to the typical big sized trucks. The Fords provides good hauling and towing capabilities with increased power and utility with each of its new trucks unveiled. The latest 2010 Ford F-150 is a full size pickup truck that comes with three body style options of the regular cab, the extended cab and the crew cab body style options. The regular cabs comes with the options of 6.5 foot or a 8 foot long cargo bed where as the supercabs comes with 5.5 footer options. You would really be amazed to find that the new Ford machine is available with nine trim level options of the base XL trim, the Sporty STX trim, the most popular XLT trim, the FX4 trim, the Luxurious Lariat trim option, the Kind Ranch option, the Platinum body trim options and the most famous and popular back with vengeance are the Harley Davidson and SVT Raptor. The work truck XL trim is meant for more of a commercial use, they come with the standard equipments of vinyl seating, the 17 inch steel wheels, air-conditioning system, AM/FM radio system and much more. The sports conscious famous STX trim are upgraded with more sporty looks and high level sound system options with a CD player and other standard option of an auxiliary audio jack system. Amongst all the trim, the XLT is the volume leader that comes with cruise control features, the good quality cloth interiors, and full power accessories and varied other options. The FX4 is also commonly by the name 4WD, it exclusively features a towing package that comes equipped with the standard options of underbody skid plates, front bucket seats, 18 inch wheels, satellite radio, retuned springs and shock absorbers, and six way power driver seat options. The top-line Lariat would feature options like power sliding rear window, passenger seats, leather upholstery, 10 way power driver seats, heated front seats, Sync Multifunction voice command system, power adjustable pedals, automatic climate control and a host of other facility options. The other King Ranch trim is very similar to that of the Lariat trim level, it comes with additional accessories like second row heated seats, leather upholstery, western saddle upholstery, in-dash six CD changer and cooled front seats. The Platinum trim is the upscale version featuring good amount of special interior and exterior accents with 20-inch chrome wheels and heated front seats. The Harley-Davidson trim version is the luxury trim level that comes with the Harley theme and also 22-inch wheels. The SVT Raptor comes with the options of a 6.2 liter V8 engine that comes along with specialized wheels and tires, sport seats, modified suspension, interior styling and exclusive exterior version. The main F-150 trim version comes equipped with the SFE package that stands for Superior Fuel Economy, this package is available with the Supercrew XL trim and the XLT trim version that boosts of 4.6 liter V8 engine. The options included in the trim and packages are back up camera, premium Sony audio system, cargo management system, reverse parking sensors, stowable bed extender, rear seat entertainment system, hard drive based navigation system, trailer brake controller and the sunroof system options. The powertrain options of the machine that are included with the V8 engines include a 4.6 liter that gives the output of 248 hp and 293 lb ft of torque, you can expect a higher output from 4.6 liter engine giving the output of 292 hp and 320 lb ft of torque. Another engine options include a 5.4-liter V8 engine that gives the output of 320 hp and 390 lb ft of torque. The base trim level comes with four speed automatic transmission options. The SVT Raptor comes equipped with the standard options of a 5.4 liter or 6.2 liter V8 engines that gives good output of 400 hp. The standard safety options of the machine includes complementary airbags, trailer sway control, stability control features, full length side curtain airbags, antilock disc brakes and front seat side airbags options.
